Wondering wither the winter weather went

After some quite hot (nearly 40 degrees Celcius) weather already, Friday and yesterday -- the summer solstice -- turned to winter.  Gales and heavy downpours and extreme change were the order of the day.  It brought back memories of similar weather at Christmas growing up in Wellington.

Then, this morning, a cracking start to a beautiful day - crisp cool air, clear sunny skies, and a likely temperature in the mid 20s.  Here's hoping that tomorrow, when I have a 6pm Christmas Eve service in Katyil, the same mild conditions are in effect!

Hi Martin...

I'm in Wellington, and I can assure you that it is a fabulous day [and has been for most of the past few weeks] - bright sunshine and a gentle breeze. Should be good through Christmas as well.

If I was cynical [who, me???] I could suggest that this global warming was good :-)

If I were a liar, I could suggest that it's always this nice in Wellington :-)

Have a great Christmas mate!

Cheers,

Rodney

Thanks, ROdney - and PMICGBH to you for even suggesting that Wellington isn't the sunny harbour capital always, and the best city in the universe! ;-)

A Blessed mass celebrating Christ to all!
